Managed Care Partners is an outsourced manage care organization that teams with critical access hospitals, small rural hospitals, and physician groups to create superior managed care financial performance.

We are currently in need of a dynamic Analytics Specialist.  This individual will be tasked with gathering, interpreting, analyzing, and categorizing complex data to develop actionable steps that will improve processes and optimize results for our clients. 

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Work with account manager to evaluate contract proposals from payers during negotiation process
  • Model complex revenue scenarios and suggest counterproposals to maximize reimbursement for clients
  • Develop target DRG pricing for client participation in CMS’ Bundled Payment Initiative
  • Audit performance of contracts to ensure that actual reimbursement aligns with expected reimbursement
  • Assist in development and design of a contract database and user manual that will eliminate a labor-intensive manual process by streamlining and centralizing the data
  • Work with client leadership to obtain and model data related to their contract negotiations
  • Prepare Financial Reports for Employer Sponsored Health Plans with emphasis on Population Health Management
  • Utilize risk assessment software to understand and stratify data to identify highest risk populations for care coordination, and to identify chronic conditions and avoidable costs


  • Excellent project management skills, the ability to work independently and efficiently, and to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders and across organizations is required
  • Experience conducting statistical analysis, including executing descriptive statistics, correlations, and linear and logistic regression analysis
  • Quantitative skills, with comfort interpreting results
  • Background in health care, medical terminology, or contract billing highly preferred
  • Expert level experience with Excel, and experience CliqView/Cliq Sense very helpful
  • Experience with mixed methods research and analyses
  • Ability to analyze information efficiently and effectively
  • Ability to critically assess challenges and help to identify effective solutions
